India, July 24 -- HCLTech has announced two separate but complementary technology projects in Bhubaneswar, strengthening its artificial intelligence (AI), infrastructure, and delivery presence in Odisha.

In the first announcement, HCLTech said it would establish its first AI data centre in partnership with Sarvam and the Government of Odisha, with a planned capital outlay of Rs 14,257 crore.

Separately, the company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to establish a Global Technology Center in Bhubaneswar. The facility will house 5,000 people and is expected to begin operations by 2028.
