India, Sept. 17 -- There was a fireside chat at the ongoing Semicon India 2026 in New Delhi.

The participants were: Utpal Shah, Senior VP, Strategy and Business Development, Tata Electronics, Guru Thalapaneni, MD and Founder, SiCSem, Dominic Gerald David, President, KLA India, and Santosh Vishwanathan, VP and MD, APJ Region, Intel. Ankush Wadhera, MD and Partner, BCG, was the moderator.

Ankush Wadhera said equipment demand for wafer fab and ATMP/OSAT is $12-13 billion. Foundation has already been established.
