India, Aug. 14 -- The World Semiconductor Trade Statistics (WSTS) organization has released Q2 statistical data and confirmed the WSTS Spring forecast for the global semiconductor market through 2029.

Semiconductor market more than doubled in the first half of 2026

The global semiconductor market reached 702 billion US dollars in the first half of 2026, representing a 102% increase year-over-year. The industry continued its exceptional expansion, driven by sustained investments in artificial intelligence infrastructure, high-performance computing and advanced memory technologies.
