India, April 22 -- A latest Gartner study reveals that organisations with successful AI initiatives are investing up to 4x more in data and analytics (D&A) foundations than those struggling to generate outcomes. Yet, despite this surge in spending, only 39% of technology leaders say their AI investments are delivering a positive financial impact.

That mismatch, between investment intensity and realised value, is emerging as the defining fault line in enterprise AI adoption.

The findings are based on a global survey of 353 D&A and AI leaders conducted between November and December 2025, pointing to a growing disconnect between AI ambition and enterprise readiness.
