India, July 20 -- Recently ESET researchers analysed the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR)-killing toolset of the ransomware-as-a-service (RaaS) gang Gentlemen, one of the most active gangs that has emerged since the beginning of 2026 in the ransomware ecosystem. The group, as ESET expatiates, distinguishes itself through a mature, operator-maintained set of EDR killers - tools for disrupting security software. And, unlike most top-tier gangs, Gentlemen does not exhibit a strong US-centric victimology.
