India, Sept. 30 -- DeepSeek has expanded its work with Huawei by open-sourcing six software components optimised for the Ascend AI platform. The projects span programming, computation, communication, attention, kernels, and data processing.

The development takes the DeepSeek-Huawei relationship beyond adapting AI models for domestic processors. The two companies are now working further down the stack on some of the software infrastructure required to make those processors usable for demanding AI workloads.
