India, Aug. 2 -- CXMT is working on LPDDR6, and it appears to be a real breakthrough for the company in memory chips. The Chinese chipmaker has sped up the R&D progress for the new-gen memory processor, pushing it one step closer to mass production.

LPDDR6 memory chips will go through four main stages in CXMT: individual chip validation, R&D validation, small-batch test validation, and full-scale mass production.

The respective chip has completed the R&D validation phase, where it has gone through tests like compatibility verification, system stability checks, performance, mechanical reliability, and power consumption analysis.
