India, Aug. 5 -- IIT Bhubaneswar has officially signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Banashree Semiconductors to advance research, innovation, and talent development in next-generation chip technologies.

The agreement was signed by Prof. Vijay Shankar Pasupureddi (Dean of Sponsored Research at IIT Bhubaneswar) and Dr. Chandramohan Umapathy (Director of Banashree Semiconductors).

Key details

Core focus: Advanced silicon-node, low-power chip design, and system-on-chip (SoC) architectures.

Joint R&D: Joint research and development projects to optimize Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) in semiconductor chips.
