India, Aug. 21 -- India is leading APAC in enterprise AI adoption and investment, with 91% of organisations increasing AI spending and 63% using AI assistants and chatbots, according to Autodesk's AI Pulse Report 2026.

Indian organisations are moving from AI experimentation toward broader deployment across business operations, according to Autodesk's 2026 AI Pulse survey, released on August 20 at the Autodesk Design & Make Summit India in Mumbai.

The report found that 91% of Indian respondents had increased AI investment over the previous year, compared with 85% across APAC and 81% globally. Half of Indian organisations said they had increased AI investment significantly or substantially, compared with 42% in APAC and 40% globally.
