New Delhi, July 28 -- Swiggy appoints former Myntra Chief Executive Officer Nandita Sinha as the Chief Executive Officer of Instamart, its quick commerce business, marking a leadership transition as competition in India's fast-growing rapid delivery market continues to intensify. She will assume the role on August 3, succeeding Amitesh Jha, who is stepping down after leading the business through a key phase of expansion.

According to Swiggy, Sinha will lead Instamart's next phase of growth, with a focus on expanding its product range, sustaining growth, improving profitability and strengthening the customer experience.
