New Delhi, April 21 -- India's generative AI startup ecosystem is showing early signs of scale, with stronger revenue growth, rising funding ambitions, and increasing enterprise alignment, according to the latest cohort announcement from Nasscom.
The industry body recently announced the fourth cohort of its GenAI Foundry programme, inducting 33 startups as it expands one of its flagship platforms aimed at building globally competitive generative AI ventures.
Early data from the programme points to improving business outcomes. According to Nasscom, confirmed portfolio annual recurring revenue (ARR) across participating startups grew from $3.9 million in FY24 to $9.7 million in FY25, and is projected to reach nearly $35 million in FY26.
