New Delhi, May 12 -- India's technology job market is undergoing a major shift as artificial intelligence skills increasingly determine who gets hired, promoted, and paid more, according to a new placement assessment report released by Scaler.

The report, independently assessed by B2K Analytics, analysed outcomes of 12,851 professionals who completed Scaler's Modern Software & AI Engineering and Data Science & ML with AI Specialisation programmes between 2023 and 2025. It found that professionals who strengthened their AI and engineering fundamentals more than doubled their median salaries as hiring patterns across the tech sector evolved.
