New Delhi, March 27 -- India's labour market continues to show resilience, with job postings rising steadily even as global uncertainties weigh on the sentiment, according to a February 2026 report by Indeed Hiring Lab.

The February 2026 Hiring Lab Report finds that job postings increased 1.6% in February and are now 7% higher year-on-year, signalling sustained hiring momentum. More notably, postings remain 87% above pre-pandemic levels, underscoring the structural shift underway in India's employment landscape.

However, hiring is still 14% lower than its peak in January 2023, which means the recovery is continuing but hasn't fully reached earlier levels yet.
