New Delhi, April 21 -- India is emerging as a preferred destination for global manufacturing investments as companies rebalance supply chains away from China, according to a new report by the Capgemini Research Institute.
The report titled 'The resurgence of manufacturing: Reindustrialization strategies in Europe and the US, 2026' finds that organizations in the US and Europe are increasingly expanding their manufacturing footprint in India, alongside countries such as Vietnam, Mexico, and Canada, as part of a broader effort to diversify supply chains and reduce dependency risks.
