New Delhi, July 17 -- Former Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Chairman Dr. Somanath Sreedhara Panicker has joined spacetech startup AgniKul Cosmos as an observer on its Board of Directors, as the company prepares for Mission-02, its next launch aimed at advancing reusable rocket technologies.

The appointment was announced by AgniKul Cosmos Co-founder and CEO Srinath Ravichandran and Co-founder and COO Moin SPM in separate LinkedIn posts. According to the founders, Dr. Somanath will advise the company on Mission-02 and other strategic initiatives as it works to develop reusable launch systems.
