South Africa, Sept. 28 -- Released as part of Barbie's 2026 Holiday Sweaters collection, the doll wears a blue sweater featuring a nine-branched menorah, Stars of David, dreidels and snowflakes. The menorah also lights up when activated, adding an interactive element to the festive design.

According to Rolling Stone, the doll launched at Walmart for around $27, with the retailer reporting hundreds of purchases in its first 24 hours.

A new addition to Barbie's holiday range

The Hanukkah Barbie forms part of a wider Holiday Sweaters collection that also includes two Christmas-themed dolls. Rather than placing Hanukkah in a separate range, Mattel has incorporated the celebration into the same seasonal collection.
