India, Aug. 27 -- Yamaha has launched the new YZF-R2 in India, with prices ranging from Rs 2.30 lakh to Rs 2.53 lakh (ex-showroom). The R2 sits above the YZF-R15 and comes with a 204cc single-cylinder engine producing 26.5hp and 19.3Nm. It weighs 149kg and gets riding modes, traction control and a 5-inch TFT display. Higher variants add a bi-directional quickshifter, adjustable suspension and a keyless system.

Yamaha YZF-R2: Design The YZF-R2 follows Yamaha's R-series design, with a full fairing, a short rear section and a sportbike riding position.
