India, June 21 -- Bollywood has delivered several action franchises over the years, but few have left a mark on motorcycle enthusiasts quite like Dhoom. While the films were built around heists, police chases, and star-studded casts, the motorcycles often ended up stealing the spotlight. For many Indian enthusiasts, Dhoom was their first introduction to litre-class superbikes and high-performance motorcycles from global brands.

In fact, some of the bikes featured in the franchise went on to achieve cult status in India, with one model still being referred to as the 'Dhoom bike' more than two decades later.
