India, July 20 -- Volvo has confirmed that the EX90 electric SUV will make its India debut on 18 August 2026, expanding the brand's growing EV portfolio in the country. Once launched, the EX90 will join the EC40 and the recently introduced EX30, becoming Volvo's third all-electric offering for the Indian market. Positioned as the company's flagship electric SUV, the EX90 replaces the XC90's combustion-focused role with an electric-first approach, while retaining the practicality and premium appeal that buyers have come to expect from Volvo.

The India-specification details are yet to be announced, but the global model gives a clear indication of what buyers can expect when the SUV arrives next month.
