India, March 27 -- The updated Volkswagen Taigun will likely be priced marginally higher than the outgoing model, which currently retails between Rs 11.42 lakh and Rs 19.18 lakh, both ex-showroom.

Volkswagen will unveil the updated Taigun in India on April 9, 2026. Compared to the outgoing model, which missed out on key features such as ADAS and a panoramic sunroof, the new iteration is expected to be better equipped. Spy images suggest a sharper design language for the revised mid-size SUV from the German brand. Buyers can expect more slender headlights joined by a DRL strip and an illuminated Volkswagen badge. The taillamps could come with revised lighting elements. Other tweaks may include redesigned bumpers and a new grille.
