India, April 9 -- The all-new Volkswagen Taigun gets an 8-speed AT option for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (113.4bhp/178Nm) engine, a larger 10.25-inch digital driver display, and a panoramic sunroof.

Volkswagen has fully unveiled the new Taigun in India, and the SUV's prices are expected to be announced by the end of this month. Pre-launch bookings are already open for a sum of Rs 11,000. The updated Taigun will be offered in five core variants and eight colour options, including two new ones. As part of the comprehensive mid-life upgrade, Volkswagen has introduced not only noticeable cosmetic updates but also added new features and a new gearbox option.
