India, Aug. 6 -- India could take a significant step towards connected mobility if the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) moves ahead with its latest proposal on Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) communication. The ministry has issued a draft notification that would require all newly manufactured L-, M- and N-category vehicles, including two-wheelers, passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles, to be equipped with V2V communication systems from October 1, 2028.
