India, June 2 -- Tata Motors reported a strong May performance, supported by demand across its SUV range and increasing customer preference for electric mobility solutions.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) reported total sales of 59,790 units across domestic and international markets in May 2026, registering a 42% increase over the 42,040 units sold during the same month last year. The latest sales performance also helped the company strengthen its position as the second-largest passenger vehicle manufacturer in India based on both wholesales and VAHAN registrations.
