India, Jan. 8 -- The Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs in India are now available with a petrol option for the first time ever. Both models come with the new 1.5-litre Hyperion turbo-petrol engine, which is also available with the Sierra trim. That said, the 2-litre diesel option continues to be offered. The Tata Harrier petrol price in India starts from Rs 12.89 lakh (ex-showroom), making it slightly more affordable than its diesel counterpart. The model is available in seven variants. The Safari petrol price, on the other hand, begins at Rs 13.29 lakh (ex-showroom). Buyers have the option of six variants to choose from.
