India, June 25 -- Something important happened at TVS Motor Company's Hosur plant on 24 June 2026. The first Norton Atlas rolled off the production line. No big fanfare, no stadium-sized crowd, just a roll-out ceremony that quietly marked one of the most meaningful moments in recent motorcycle history. Norton is back in the adventure segment, and this time it is being built in India.

The ceremony was attended by Dr Sutapa Choudhury, British Deputy High Commissioner for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Kerala. Her presence made sense.
