India, July 9 -- Nissan has launched the Tekton in India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The new midsize SUV is based on the Renault Duster platform and is available in 12 variants spread across six trims. Buyers can choose between two turbo-petrol engines and over 50 factory-backed customisation options. Nissan has also confirmed a 5-star Bharat NCAP crash safety rating for the Tekton. Bookings are now open, while deliveries will begin from 20 July.

The lineup includes Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna and Tekna+ trims, with prices going up to Rs 18.59 lakh (ex-showroom). Instead of limiting buyers to fixed configurations, Nissan is also offering more than 50 accessories and customisation options. Customers ca...
