India, June 15 -- Mercedes-Benz S-Class PHEV arrives in India with a claimed 115km EV range, 32.3km/l fuel-efficiency, 15 airbags and ADAS Level 2 Plus technology.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the updated S-Class in India at a starting price of Rs 2.20 crore. The headline update is the new S 450e plug-in hybrid, which brings a claimed electric-only range of 115km and a fuel efficiency figure of 32.3km/l. Along with the hybrid powertrain, the flagship sedan receives design revisions, a new operating system, ADAS Level 2 Plus and a 15-airbag safety package. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class arrives in India as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), with bookings now underway and deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2026.
