India, March 6 -- The eighth-generation Lexus ES sedan will launch in India on 20 March, introducing a major update to the luxury line-up. This model follows a global debut last year and is built on an updated version of the TNGA-K platform. While the architecture now supports both hybrid and fully electric powertrains globally, the Indian market will continue to receive the hybrid configuration at launch. The new generation aims to progress the nameplate through a revised design, updated cabin technology, and refined proportions.
