India, May 14 -- Honda will launch a new India-focused compact SUV by 2028 as the brand prepares to strengthen its presence in the growing SUV market.

Honda has confirmed that it will return to India's compact SUV space with an all-new sub-4-metre SUV scheduled to arrive in 2028. The upcoming model will be developed specially for Indian buyers, with Honda focusing on local conditions, customer preferences and market demands from the beginning itself.
