India, Sept. 29 -- Mercedes-Benz has announced that it will launch the locally assembled GLC 400 4Matic Electric in India on November 4. The electric SUV will arrive in the standard-wheelbase specification, with bookings set to open from the first week of October. The India-spec model will be positioned separately from the long-wheelbase GLC Electric that the company unveiled earlier this year, which will not be offered in India for now.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric: Dimensions The electric GLC has a 2,972mm wheelbase, making it 84mm longer between the axles than the petrol-powered GLC. It offers 570 litres of boot space, while an additional 128 litres of storage is available in the front compartment.
