India, Oct. 6 -- Mercedes-Benz India has opened bookings for the GLC Electric ahead of its scheduled launch on November 4, 2026. The electric SUV will be sold in India in the GLC 400 4Matic specification and will be locally assembled at the company's Chakan facility in Pune. Mercedes-Benz had earlier confirmed that the model would reach India within six months of its European market introduction.

Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric: Battery The India-bound GLC Electric 400 4Matic gets a 94kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system. Internationally, this powertrain develops around 490bhp and 800Nm, allowing the SUV to accelerate from 0-100km/h in a claimed 4.3 seconds.
