India, July 30 -- Mercedes-Benz has introduced the third-generation GLA for global markets. This is the first time the luxury SUV will also be sold as a fully electric model. The new GLA is based on the brand's new MMA platform and comes with a fresh look, a larger cabin and several new technology features. At present, the SUV is available only as an electric vehicle, while a petrol mild-hybrid version will join the line-up in 2027.
