India, March 17 -- The Maruti Suzuki Dzire has sold more than 30 lakh units since its launch in India in 2008. This milestone speaks volumes about the popularity of the compact sedan, which has undergone multiple generational updates over the years. The most recent fourth-generation model was launched in November 2024, and it became the first model from the brand to receive a 5-star safety rating from Global NCAP. Maruti Suzuki also announced that the Dzire was India's highest-selling car in calendar year 2025, with over 2.14 lakh units sold. In February 2026, the popular sedan sold 19,326 units, showing a YoY 31.52% growth from 14,694 units sold during the same month last year.
