India, June 29 -- Mahindra's rugged lifestyle SUV retains its concept styling in newly surfaced patent images, with ICE and EV versions expected to be built on the NU_IQ platform.

Mahindra appears to be moving ahead with plans for its Vision SXT lifestyle SUV, as the model's design has now been patented in India. First shown during the unveiling of the brand's NU_IQ architecture on Independence Day last year, the Vision SXT was presented as a concept that could underpin a wide range of future vehicles. The latest patent images suggest that the production-bound version will remain largely faithful to the show car, giving enthusiasts a better idea of what to expect when the SUV eventually reaches showrooms.
