India, Sept. 26 -- Mahindra has given its three-door Thar another substantial update, bringing the new Thar OG with a starting price of Rs 10.32 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest version gets a new platform, revised suspension, electric power steering, updated engines and additional safety equipment. The Maruti Suzuki Jimny, meanwhile, takes a different approach to the compact off-roader formula. Its five-door layout adds practicality without moving away from the ladder-frame chassis and standard 4WD setup. Both SUVs are designed for those who want genuine off-road hardware, but the two take noticeably different routes in terms of size, power, cabin space, and pricing.
