India, Feb. 26 -- The new Mahindra electric SUV, internally codenamed BO7, is all set to launch in India in 2027, as confirmed by Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO, Auto and Farm Sector, during the company's Q3 FY26 analyst meeting. While the exact specifications remain under wraps, the upcoming BO7 electric SUV is anticipated by Mahindra to be a 'very big volume driver', with strong sales potential in India's growing electric SUV segment. As for the current calendar year, the homegrown automaker has no plans to introduce any new EV. Addressing analysts, Jejurikar stated, 'On EVs, both what we had spoken about are done for this calendar year. So, there's no new EV launch happening in this calendar year.'
