India, May 15 -- The Jaguar Land Rover Defender continued to dominate JLR India's sales charts in FY26, ending the financial year as the brand's highest-selling model for the second year in a row. Known for its upright design, strong road presence and proper off-road capability, the Defender has found a sweet spot among Indian luxury SUV buyers. Along with the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport, the SUV helped JLR India generate more than 80 per cent of its retail sales in the country. The company also posted a 14 per cent rise in revenue during FY26 despite a drop in overall retail volumes.
