India, Sept. 23 -- Hyundai has opened bookings for the Bayon ahead of its India launch, expected in October. Customers can reserve the SUV online or at a Hyundai dealership. The Bayon will sit between the Venue and Creta and become Hyundai's second mid-size SUV in India. It is expected to use the Creta's 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with manual and CVT gearbox options. A CNG version is also expected, which would make the Bayon Hyundai's first model over four metres long with this option. Prices are expected to start at around Rs 9 lakh.
