India, April 21 -- The updated Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z gets a 349cc engine from the Bajaj Dominar 400, lower output and is still priced at Rs 1.93 lakh ex-showroom.

Bajaj has quietly updated the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, and the biggest change is under the tank. The bike now uses a new 349.13cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine in place of the older 373cc motor. This move brings the NS400Z in line with the rest of Bajaj's updated performance line-up, which has already shifted below the 350cc mark to benefit from the lower GST slab. Interestingly, despite the smaller engine and lower tax bracket, Bajaj has decided to keep the NS400Z's price unchanged at Rs 1.94 lakh (ex-showroom).
