India, Feb. 26 -- Toyota seems to be working on a major update for the Fortuner, as spy shots of the popular ladder-frame SUV undergoing testing abroad have surfaced online. The spotted test mule was heavily camouflaged, but some features were still noticeable, including a refreshed front fascia and an ADAS radar module. Currently, the Fortuner is running in its second-generation here and is priced starting at Rs 34.16 lakh (ex-showroom). With anticipated improvements in both safety features and exterior styling, the updated model is likely to see a price increase of around Rs 2 lakh.
