India, June 22 -- Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457 Special Edition in India at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making it just Rs 2,000 costlier than the standard model. The motorcycle was unveiled on World Motorcycle Day and takes inspiration from the 2006 Tuono 1000R. Along with a new livery, the Special Edition gets updates to the seat, handlebar, brake lever and suspension, while the 457cc parallel-twin engine remains unchanged.

Bookings have opened across Aprilia dealerships, and the motorcycle comes with a 4-year/48,000km warranty, whichever comes first.
