India, Aug. 20 -- Something strange is brewing in the Upside Down, sending the Hawkins Investigators Club (HIC) back into action in the upcoming season 2 of Stranger Things: Tales from '85. The Hawkins gang may have defeated the Horde Queen in the first season of the animated Stranger Things spin-off, but their troubles are far from over.

Just four months after the show's first season debuted on Netflix, the streaming giant unveiled the first-look images for season 2 and confirmed its release date. The Hawkins gang will return to familiar corners of the seemingly quaint town in Indiana but will also venture into places they have never explored before - including deep inside a mine.
