Bangladesh, Sept. 30 -- A new survey of Democratic voters has generated considerable debate about the depth of political polarization in the United States. Conducted by the Center for Strategic Politics in partnership with Liberal Currents, the survey questioned 683 Democratic voters about President Donald Trump, constitutional institutions, immigration, the Supreme Court, the Senate filibuster, and other political issues. The results have attracted attention not only because of respondents' views on Trump, but also because of what they may suggest about the intensity of partisan divisions in American politics.
