Bangladesh, Feb. 27 -- Two people were killed in separate incidents involving alleged extortionists and armed robbers in Chittagong earlier this week, triggering concern among local residents and prompting calls for swift law enforcement action.

The first incident occurred on Wednesday night (February 25) in the Alankar area of Chittagong city. The victim, identified as Akash Das, was reportedly stabbed to death following a confrontation with a group alleged to be involved in extortion activities.
