Bangladesh, July 8 -- For decades, violence carried out by Israeli settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank has often been described as the work of a small number of extremists acting outside the law. This explanation has allowed many governments to portray such attacks as isolated incidents rather than symptoms of a broader structural problem. Yet the growing frequency, organization and apparent lack of accountability surrounding these attacks have made that narrative increasingly difficult to sustain.
