Bangladesh, June 5 -- Indonesias anti-corruption authorities have launched a major investigation into alleged misconduct within the countrys immigration system, detaining Deputy Minister of Immigration and Correctional Affairs Silmy Karim and seven other officials over accusations of extortion and the acceptance of illicit gratuities.
