Bangladesh, Sept. 18 -- China's latest revision of its National Defense Mobilization Law blurs the line between civilian and military power marking a significant shift in how Beijing views future conflict. Chinese authorities present it as a measure to modernize national security and improve emergency readiness. The revised law, creates a framework that could allow the state to rapidly convert civilian resources, industrial capacity, technology companies and social organizations into instruments of national defense.
