Wallis who? Would be common reaction of most of the readers here. In fact, even in Karachi, where he played most of his cricket, he is a little-known figure now.
Certainly, there is nothing extraordinary about his test record. A middle order bat, he scored only 783 runs at a poor average of 23.72. His highest score of 77 came against WI at Kingston. But then in the same test, Sir Gary Sobers smashed 365* and Sir Conrad Hunte scored 260.
