Global oil reserves drain at record pace as Hormuz crisis deepens
Bangladesh, May 10 -- Global oil inventories are declining at the fastest rate ever recorded, raising fears of a severe energy supply crunch as disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz continue to destabilize international markets. The rapid depletion of reserves, driven by geopolitical tensions in the Persian Gulf and growing uncertainty over future exports, is pushing the world closer to what analysts describe as operational “stress” and “floor” levels for oil stockpiles.
