Bangladesh, April 12 -- On March 25, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution introduced by Ghana declaring the transatlantic slave trade the “gravest crime against humanity.” The measure passed with a commanding majority-123 countries voted in favor, including Russia and China.
